The Infobase Platform offers users the ability to perform federated searches across numerous databases while remaining within the platform. If these resources are enabled, the federated search results will appear on the righthand side of the search results page, under "More Library Resources".
Note for Administrators: These resources are activated and managed in the Admin Portal; for more information on this, please see this Help Center article.
If these resources are enabled, the search word or phrase entered into the search box is also passed to each third-party resource, and the first three results are returned. A click on any of these articles will open a new tab/window showing the article on the vendor's site.
The search in these resources is done through the API published by the vendor, so the results may not match the front-end results for this resource. Currently, no filtering by subject is possible. If no results are returned by the vendor, you will be provided a "Search Resource" button.
