General Overview:
Snips provide another level of customization, allowing you to create the perfect segment that best meets your needs. When you create a snip, you are creating a virtual segment between certain points of the video. These snips do not alter the original video and are not downloadable. All snips are stored in the Saved section of your account and can be organized into folders.
Creating Snips:
1. Click on the Snip tool in the upper right of the video.
2. Customize your snip by locating the desired time in the video, then click the start and end time buttons as shown below (or manually enter the timestamps).
3. Once the start and end times for the snip are selected, you have the following options:
- Preview: See the snip before sharing or saving to confirm it has the content desired.
- Copy URL: A generated direct URL that will bring a user to this snip. This is an authenticated link that will require someone to login before they can view the content. It is possible that other people may not have the same content in their accounts and therefore will not be able to view everything shared.
- Save Snip: Choose this to save the snip to your personal content, either in a new or existing folder.
