The Title Data section allows Admins to generate a comprehensive list of titles in their subscription and export the title metadata on-demand. Additionally, filters are available to limit between Collections, Subjects, or Producers, as well as choose between all titles or limit to new titles added within the last 30 days. Customizable metadata fields can be included in the report to show relevant information of your choice, with the ability to export the report to Excel.
Watch a short video of the account creation process, or written instructions can be found below.
To get started, log into the Admin Portal with administrator credentials, then locate the Infobase Platform placard. Click the dropdown on My Content, then Title Data. (For issues logging into your administrator account, please contact productsupport@infobase.com.)
Select the Filters, Timeframe, and Fields
1. Filter Titles Data
Title metadata can be generated from any number of collections available in your account, or by individual subjects. Both options support multiple selections in the same report. Selecting the Subject will switch to a listing of all the top-level subjects where any number of subjects can be selected. If a title is cross-listed in multiple subjects or multiple collections, it will only be listed once in the report.
Additionally, the title data export can be customized to exclude titles based on active suppression rules. To utilize this feature, check the box next to "Exclude Titles from Suppression Rule" and select the user type where your rule is applied to. By default, the report will include all titles and ignore any active suppression rules.
2. Report Range
Optionally, the title data export can be customized to only show new titles (previous 30 days), all titles, or titles between a specific date range.
3. Export Report
Click Export Report to select the report fields. Select any number of metadata fields you would like to include in your report. Use the Select All checkbox at the top to quickly select all fields. Choose between the XLSX (Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet) or CSV (comma separated values) format. After the report is generated and opened, if columns of the sheet look like ######, simply expand the column width to see the data.
