About LTI Integration
LTI 1.3 Standard: The updated Infobase platform supports the LTI 1.3 standard through the LTIAAS service. Follow the LMS Integration Instructions below to set up LTI 1.3 integration with the supported LMS apps.
LTI 1.1: LTI 1.1, which was no longer supported by EdTech as of 2022, is not available. Current users of the Films on Demand or Credo Reference LTI will need to update their integration to the 1.3 standard.
Supported Registration Types: Infobase supports three types of registration: Dynamic Registration (recommended for Canvas, Brightspace/D2L, Moodle), Automatic JSON Registration (available for Canvas), and Manual Registration (Schoology, Blackboard, optional for other LMS apps).
LTI Advantage Dynamic Registration: When registering the plugin in an LMS app that supports LTI Advantage Dynamic Registration (Canvas, Brightspace/D2l, Moodle), you will be able to choose between a single interface which includes all products on the Infobase platform that you subscribe to, or choose one specific product. For LMS apps that do not support this type of registration (Schoology, Blackboard), a single interface is used for all products on the Infobase platform.
Gradebook - Not Supported: Our LTI does not currently offer Gradebook integration services. Turning off user data sharing will not affect the current integration, but that setting will need to be updated when this feature is introduced if you wish to use it.

FAQs
As there are multiple registration types for most LMS apps, which registration type should I use?
We recommend Dynamic Registration for Canvas, D2L/Brightspace, Moodle, and most LMSs that support LTI Advantage Dynamic Registration; this registration is preferred as our design provides immediate integration for your institution and provides the option to integrate all your Infobase products together, or to integrate an individual product.. Schoology and Blackboard require Manual Registration.
Should I use incognito/private browsing when accessing the LMS?
No, always use the LMS in regular browser mode to avoid authentication or session issues. Ensure that third party cookies are enabled in the browser settings.
Which login credentials should I use when going through the Dynamic Registration process?
Please use your Infobase admin credentials for the institution which you are setting up integration (the same credentials used to access the Infobase Admin Portal).
Can I install more than one Infobase LTI tool within the same LMS instance?
Yes, you can install each tool multiple times, independently. Each install operates as its own tool and won’t interfere with previous installs.
If our institution shares the same LMS for multiple accounts, can we install multiple Infobase tools on the same LMS?
Install the tool as many times as needed, then you may rename you instance to define each one.
Does suppression of content persist in the LTI integration?
Yes, your existing suppression settings carry over.
